Pernicious Anemia – Multiple Sclerosis – Fibromyalgia Question and Answer
72Hello, may I ask how MS and Pernicious Anemia also Fibro, as I have all 3'. What do u suggest for...with/about/anything to help me fight these monsters? Sincerely, Terry-Joy aka:TJ
WOW TJ !!! This is quite a question. I'll see what I can do but as you have obviously been diagnosed with all 3 conditions or diseases, I will attempt an answer. Please understand that I am not a physician but rather a victim of a neurological disorder that doctors say is Multiple sclerosis.
Like Fibromyalgia, MS is often the diagnosis of DRs that can't find anything else to 'Give you'. They have to put you someplace so Fibromyalga or Multiple Sclerosis are both safe calls because each has 'No known cause nor cure.'
As a victim of any disease the patient better know more about their malady than their physician. Fortunately this isn't too hard. The Dr doesn't have the personal interest nor the time to devote to one problematical patient.
FM (Fibromyalgia) may be a dysfunction of neurotransmitter pathways in the brain as some researchers think. So may MS. Each disease is known to cause some abnormalities in the central nervous system. Many same symptoms such as sleeping problems, pain, and chronic fatigue. Other symptoms may include migraine headaches, decrease in short term memory, cognitive dysfunction, circulatory problems, and heightened anger.
Now with Pernicious Anemia some of these same symptoms may manifest. Anemia is known to be caused by a lack of vitamin B12 or due to your body not having enough red blood cells to carry oxygen to its various parts. Muscle stiffness, dizziness when standing up or impaired ambulation may be symptomatic. Other problems headaches; coldness or numbness in hands or feet; muscle tingling and/or weakness can result from Vitamin B12 deficiency. This may lead to nerve damage. Hence you have a neurological disorder.
I have known a renowned rheumatoid researcher that believed all Arthritis is a direct result of poor circulation and that Fibromyaliga is also another form of Rheumatism. Of course if a patient has Pernicious Anemia then lack of oxygen, due to the body not having enough red blood cells, furthers the related problems.
Having seen many of his patients dramatically benefit from EPIC (External Pneumatic Intermittent Compression) therapy I personally think Dr. Robert Reinhardt may have been right. I use an EPIC machine myself to increase my circulation.
Please keep in mind that most Traditional Medicine Doctors do not want to see mechanical solutions to patient problems. Rather they seek pharmacological or surgical solutions.
If I were you TJ, I would concentrate on the Pernicious Anemia 1st. Then when your red blood cells are adequate, many of your symptoms of Multiple Sclerosis and Fibromyalgia my go away too. In addition I would do water aerobics and exercise. You know your own body. Pray and 'Confess' yourself well. Say aloud until you believe the scriptures, "No weapon formed against me can prosper."
